Money and greed sowing their seed - degrade dignity.
Power and lust, corruption, mistrust - I want to break free.
These days are so long, pushing me down, the feeling surrounds.
I need to break out of this pit of doubt and find a new way.
Buried behind material things - what we've come to be.
A poisonous cocoction of envy, hate, and apathy.
But we have to learn to be happy with what we've achieved.
